The unique fell chain between Pyhä and Luosto comprising 12 fell-tops and 35 km Pyhä-Luosto national park 35 km is a breathtaking sight. Pyhä-Luosto offers a diverse outdoor trails; mountain biking and hiking and fell landscapes for nature lovers.

Pyhä-Luosto is in the middle of Finnish Lapland, and it is easy to travel whether you come by car, by train or by plane. There is daily bus connection from the nearest Rovaniemi airport.

Finland's oldest National Park, The Luosto area is known for its majestic old-growth pine forests and Pyhätunturi for its geology and Forest Sámi history.

During the summer there are over 190 km of mountainbike trails.

Pyhä-Luosto area is ideal for hiking and day trips. Pyhä-Luosto National Park offers 101 kilometres of marked hiking trails.

The Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis, occur in the Arctic sky on clear, dark nights from mid August to mid April.

Visitor Centre Naava houses a fascinating nature exhibition on the nature and cultural history of Pyhä-Luosto National Park.

Ahvenlampi trail

There is an easy walking trail around Ahvenlampi. Length of the trail is approximately 2,8km which is easily accessible to the whole family. And also suitable for people with reduced mobility.
