Reindeer park Kopara

Welcome Reindeer park Kopara

Reindeer Park Kopara is open daily in September and during the winter season

At Kopara Reindeer Farm, you can meet our friendly reindeer, enjoy sleigh rides of varying lengths, and learn about traditional reindeer herding and the life of a reindeer herder.

The easiest way to get to know the reindeer and their way of life is by following the famous Poronpolku (Reindeer Trail). Poronpolku is a self-guided walking route through the reindeer park that takes about 15–30 minutes. The trail leads visitors to the Kopara Reindeer Farm’s enclosure, and along the way, you’ll find informational signs sharing stories about the reindeer’s year.

At the enclosure, you’ll find feeding boxes filled with reindeer treats—our reindeer are happy to eat straight from your hand! Along the trail, there’s also a traditional and cozy reindeer hut (porokämppä) with a fireplace, where you can warm up or enjoy a packed snack.

You can conveniently purchase tickets in Restaurant Kopara.
