During a guided tour you will hear fascinating stories about the geology and history of Lampivaara and learn about the beautiful amethyst. The tour includes digging your own lucky stone and you will also visit a small shop where you can buy amethyst souvenirs. The tour takes about 1 hour.
If you depart from Lampivaara café, then there is no need to book the tickets in advance, you can buy them from the café when you arrive.Options to reach Lampivaara café are either by winter hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or fatbiking. Please remember that walking on a cross-country skiing track is not allowed.

In our ticket policy, a child is 3-15 years old and children under 3 years-old are always free of charge.
We also have a family ticket option. When there are 2 paying adults, every other child (3-15 years old) is free of charge.
