What if your next bike ride took you beyond the edges of the city and into the heart of fells, ancient forests, and the profound silence of Lapland? In Pyhä-Luosto, mountain biking is more than just exercise. It is a chance to connect with the pure wilderness. With nearly 190 kilometres of marked trails, you can ride freely through landscapes that still feel genuinely wild, far from traffic, crowds, and everyday noise.
In Pyhä-Luosto National Park, there are almost 100 kilometres of cycling routes available during the snow-free season, around 40 kilometres of which have been specifically designed for mountain biking. The trail network extends beyond the national park boundaries into both Pyhä fell and Luosto fell, and connects to the wider Arctic by Cycle bikepacking route network. Whether you are an experienced rider seeking technical singletracks or an adventurer looking to enjoy the scenery at a slower pace, you can explore the region at your own rhythm.
The experience does not end when autumn fades into winter. Luosto offers approximately 20 kilometres of trails dedicated to winter biking, leading you through snow-covered landscapes and peaceful forests, allowing you to experience Lapland from an entirely new perspective. The crunch of tyres on snow and the sparkling frosty scenery make every ride unforgettable.
In Pyhä-Luosto, you do not just admire nature, you become part of it. Ride gently through quiet trails, move responsibly, and take time to pause and appreciate the moment. This is mountain biking in Lapland. This is Experience the Untouched.
